Durante un stream en directo, se revelaron todos los juegos nominados en las diferentes categorías de la entrega de premios The Game Awards 2023, uno de los eventos más importantes del año en la industria del gaming y del streaming.
El creador y productor ejecutivo de los premios fue el encargado de anunciar los nominados de las 30 categorías que componen la gala de este año. Una sorpresa fue cuando Spreen, el santafesino de Santo Tomé, fue nombrado como posible ganador en la categoría al mejor creador de contenido.

Los candidatos al mejor juego del año (GOTY) son 6 y de distintos géneros. Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Marvel Spiderman 2, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Bros Wonder y The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, este último es uno de los candidatos a quedarse con el premio.
La gala de The Games Awards se realizará el viernes 8 de diciembre y se podrá ver por Twitch, Youtube, Steam, Facebook, Tik Tok Live y otras plataformas. Será el décimo aniversario de la celebración y se realizará en el Peacock Theatre.
